I decided to get familiar with materials. I know people do not recommended early preparation. I have also been told that it is all about memorizing so intensive 2 months studying is way better. But, I would like to review the materials starting NOW. I must also get the ipod barbri because I am far from any barbri location. But to my surprise when I called barbri last week , I was told that I should call them back end of March to get the material for July exam!!!!! How stupid that could be. I mean are they officially depriving examiners from studying in advance?
when to start studying for Spring bar?

i think they do not have their materials ready yet.
If you do not mind having the "old" stock, I am guessing they would be happy to sell them to you? I am not sure.
There are other reviews out there who can let you start studying now but if you really want BarBri then just wait for it! :)

A couple of things:
1. The reduced-rate iPod-only option may be discontinued by Barbri, in favor of a requirement to sign up for a full course (even if you can't attend the lectures) and an iPhone/podcast add-on for additional charge.
2. You may be able to find PMBR courses for early prep. You could also search for used Barbri fill-in books from previous courses. You might try Facebook. I don't think Barbri has any programs until March, however. It's not very common to start studying this early if you're taking the July exam.
