Could you please tell me about the preparation materials to be studied for giving NY bar exam. I have been given admit offer letter from UC hastings. I want to give CA bar exam, which subjects in LLM will help me prepare better for CA bar exam.

I passed NY last year, my suggestion is to start studying as early as possible. Start reading the 6 MBE subjects ( Constitutional Law, Evidence, Torts, Real Property,Criminal Law, Contract). Most likely you will not study this subjects in class but they are important for the bar preparation.
