I have no idea which bar prep program to take. I am a foreign attorney hoping to take the NY Bar exam in July 2014. It seems JDs take Barbri but my concern with this is that the prep class might not be geared to the foreign trained attorney (albeit with a US LL.M.
Honest suggestions most welcome!
Thanks .

Hi Dolega,
Actually, BARBRI has an LL.M. Extended Bar Review program for the New York bar exam specifically designed for foreign trained attorneys. The program is designed to give foreign students a longer period to study and focuses on commonly tested areas and/or hard to master subjects, in additional to MBE and essay writing workshops.
You can find more information at http://llm.barbri.com/products-services/llm-extended-bar-review.html
Hope this information is helpful!

Hi,i am planning to take the bar in July 2014. I am between Llm barbri extended review and llm bar exam. According to my information, Barbri has better and more complete material but it might be overwhelming. The program is new and i don't know if it is really helping you out to master your skills. On the other hand, llm bar exam is supposed to be customized to everyone's needs. They offer you some simulated tests in real time and the y focus a lot on your writing skills. The bad thing is that they don't have a lot of experience because they have been in the business for less than five years.
Can anybody advise me?
Thanks
