I just sat for and passed the New York bar for July 2008 using BarBri. I have all the Barbri materials for Feb 2009 - Barbri costs about $3000. I would be happy to sell you all my stuff - but not at that ludicrous fee.

Dear Savannah,
Congratulations for having passed the bar¡¡¡ I heard is really difficult and you have to study like crazy for 2 month. Is that true?
I am applying for an LLM and wanted to know if do I have to take specific courses to take the NY bar or only is required to have approbed a minimum of credits.
Regards

The LL.M is sufficient, I guess. Sometimes, they can let you take the bar w/out doing the LL.M, depending on where you are from and if you have some legal experience and the requisite education from a Common Law background. But you also have to be prepared to sit and study for like 15 hours each day, Saturday and Sunday too.Are you interested in the material? Let me know on viearch@yahoo.co.uk.
