Hi guys, I wanted to understand the bar examination system in the US. Let's say I go to UChicago or Northwestern for an LLM, can I network in Chicago and get a job there after passing the NY Bar? Or should I pick colleges only in NY to have better networking chances and a job in NY itself? I have competing offers from several universities and am having a hard time deciding. I am guessing if I am ineligible to work in a particular state, I will remove that option from my list and move on. Would love to know people's thoughts on this.
