I don't have JD degreem, can I take the bar exam in California with only a LLM degree? How to be eligible for bar exam in CA or NY? thanks!

The fact that you are asking these questions and thinking of becoming lawyers in the US, especially when there are about 3 or 4 recent threads (just scroll down or do a search) on the exact same subject, makes me wonder why I'm still earning under 40K at 4 years admission.

are there anything in particular that i have to do, any action to take during my year in a llm program to gain employment with a law firm??

my question here is, they say you need a BA from a country that has the english common law system but i am not sure which countries they mean by this.
