I have a law degree and LLM from non-common law jurisdictions in Europe. I heard that it is possible to take some special courses in the UK (not full programme but shorter) and be able to take Bar exam in the US.
Does anyone know smth about such way to be admitted to American Bar? Or are there any other ways to take American Bar exam without having to study in common law country for one year?
Many thanks!!

You can take the California Bar Exam without any further studies so long as you are an attorney in your home country.
