Bar Exam after Tax LLM

Is a foreign trained lawyer who completes a tax LLM eligible
to take the NY or California Bar exam? Isn't it a requirement to have taken several general US law subjects other than tax law in order to take the bar? Maybe somebody has looked into this or has experience...

Again, a foreign lawyer may take the California bar examination without any further US legal education required. An LL.M or JD is not required so long as the foreign lawyer is licensed to practice law in his or her home country.

But don't think you will pass without eduction in the US, very rarely happens, unless your country have the same legal system as America
