Hey guys,
I'm just curious if Sydney Law School offers any honours or distinction for its postgraduate students? I mean like if you got 85% in all subjects that you have taken, you'd get distinction something like that.
Thanks in advance.

I checked the website and the Handbook. Basically, Sydney Law School stopped awarding Honours in its LLM in 1999 and all the units are coursework and there's no thesis (unless you do the LLM by Research). However, you can undertake an Independent Research Project, which is a 10,000 mini-thesis and counts for 12 credit points or two units. The Law School recently changed its Honours rules for its LLB (equivalent to a JD for instance) so maybe they'll re-introduce Honours in the future, but probably not for a while. There are prizes though if you do well in the LLM which you can view here - http://www.law.usyd.edu.au/fstudent/coursework/scholarships.shtml
