Can I practice in Australia?

I have completed a LLB Law degree in the UK and am currently completing the LPC (Legal Practice Course). I was wandering if anyone knows if these will count as valid qualifications in Australia? and what else I would need to gain before I could practice as a solicitor in Australia?

I have not got a Training Contract lined up in the UK and wandered if I could complete this in Australia to finish my training or whether I would need to complete any other courses first??

Any info will be much appreciated!

you will most likely need to study australian constitutional law and australian administrative law with a Australian university. complete a practical training program / secure a clerkship in order to fulfill practical requirements prior to admission.

This is kind of a reverse answer:

An Australian guy in my class graduated with an LLB from an Australian uni. He worked in Australia for 2 years, which is required to obtain an unrestricted practicing certificate. He immediately moved to London and worked there as a foreign-registered lawyer. If it happens in one direction, it probably happens in the other direction as well.
