Hi,
I know this is a discussion board for LLM, but I have some questions about LLB here that I would like to know about, and I hope there will be people who could help me :)
I'm a 17 year old NZ citizen. I studied primary there when I was a kid, but I studied my jr. high and senior high in Taiwan.
Now, I would like to go to either NZ or AU to study Law.
Here are my questions:
1. How could I apply for LLB in AU in the situation I am in right now? I've never taken any of the University entrance exams in neither NZ or AU. Are there any alternatives for me to apply for LLB?
2. I found out that there are several universities with Law Schools. However, I'm kind of confused about the rankings of them. All the universities look very good.
3. Do people usually take combined major for LLB?
Thanks for replying! Hope u all have a great day!
Cheers,

THERE ARE MANY INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS STUDYING IN AUSTRALIAN/NZ UNIVERSITIES WHO HAVE BEEN EDUCATED UNDER THE TAIWANESE EDUCATION SYSTEM. YOU WILL NEED TO CHECK THE INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS' WEBSITE OF UNIVERSITIES YOU ARE INTERESTED IN TO DETERMINE THE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS (QUALIFICATIONS THEY NEED TO SEE) BEFORE THEY CAN GRANT YOU ADMISSION.
2. I found out that there are several universities with Law Schools. However, I'm kind of confused about the rankings of them. All the universities look very good.
YOU CAN'T GO WRONG WITH THE GROUP OF 8 UNIVERSITIES IN AUSTRALIA. TYPE 'GROUP OF 8 UNIVERSITIES AUSTRALIA' IN GOOGLE AND YOU WILL SEE THE LIST.
3. Do people usually take combined major for LLB?
YES AND NO. DEPENDING ON THEIR FINANCES AND OTHER PERSONAL CONSIDERATIONS. THE COMMITMENT TO TAKE A DUAL DEGREE (I AM ASSUMING THIS IS WHAT YOU ARE REFERRING TO BECAUSE THERE IS NO MAJOR IN A LLB PROGRAM) IS EXTENSIVE! SOME OPT TO COMPLETE A MASTER IN ANOTHER FIELD AFTER THE LLB. IN SOME UNIVERSITIES PEOPLE TAKE A DUAL BECAUSE UNDERGRADUATES DO NOT HAVE THE OPTION OF TAKING THE LLB BY ITSELF.
Thanks for replying! Hope u all have a great day!

There are no majors nor minors in LLBs, just law, as the foregoing peer correctly states.
If you want to combine disciplines, study a Bachelor in business or something else. And once finished, go for a JD.
Or, like he proposes, study a dual/joint degree program LLB with BA, or similar.
