The Short-Term Program in Chinese Law

Has anyone participated in The Short-Term Program in Chinese Law at Peking? My husband is considering it for the Spring semester next year. He is hoping this will be a nice way to get over to China to start the legal job search. He is a first yr associate at an internationl firm, but can't seem to break into the China market from Tampa, Fl. I guess you have to work out of DC, LA, or NY to get recruited over there. Anyway- just wondering if anyone else has tried this program...and their experience with it. Thanks
