hi tinku,
I think i will be able to advice you abt nls because i dropped out after 4 months for doing an llm in UK ....I think it was an ordinary decision Few of my frnds in nls have already landed up with jobs (they have 6-7 more months to go to finish thier course) and many others if not all are interning somewhere or the other and i believe they have 90% chance of getting good corporate jobs.... admissions are through entrance exam....I would surely recommend it any day ahead of nujs or ILS ......all the best

Dear all,
am M.L. Shankar Kaarmukilan from NUJS, Kolkata. This to all and in particulat to Thinku. LL.M in NUJS is different. Here every thing depends on students and their interest. The university is neither restricts nor promotes taking up of corporate jobs. The kind of flexibility which is available to the students by any comparative standards are very high with a chance to choose subjects in II and III sems. in a general LL.M course. Read the brochure carefully while applying and note as on date there is no campus recruitment for LL.M students. But still students have been obsorbed by corporates including TATA. Good internship prospects are also available through LL.M internship Committe (managed by students with university permission and support). Any how 2006-2007 LL.M (LL.B too) admissions results are already out. So wait for 2007-2008. All the best.
