NALSAR has left a prominent mark on the legal fraternity and has guided the society in a proper manner when it came to the field of law. NALSAR has the reputation of bringing in the necessary 'change' in the legal field. In a similar initiative, the University in 2008 started a unique course for Post Graduate students who want to pursue their higher education and aim towards making a career in the field of International Trade.
The era of globalization has transformed the way business is carried on all over the world. International trade has become the key word for the economic development of all countries. As a consequence, cross border commercial transactions have proliferated. With these developments, a plethora of legal issues have emerged in such cross border transactions. The birth of World Trade Organisation (WTO) and the agreements under its ambit have caused key changes in legal systems of almost all member countries. With that the negotiation and conclusion of Regional Trade Agreements between various nations have resulted in a complex web of international rules and regulations. Since 1990, Indias share in International Trade has been growing consistently. With an increase in Trade there is also a rise in the legal problems in International Business.

Hi
I wanted to check the feasibility and value of the new IPR program at IIT Kharagpur for B.Tech, MBAs. Is it worthwhile for a B.Tech or MBA to switch to the law profession and will it be fulfilling? your views solicited....

Dear Members,
I have no idea about these programmes, but it would be nice if we could maintain the decorum of this forum. It has always been a great place for discussions and valuable information for all aspirants of a post-graduation in law. You are free to express your views and opinions, but refrain from using profanity and respect fellow members.
Many thanks.

Yes, I am a law graduate.
You have answered it yourself, it's 'silly things'. Anyhow, do as you please.
