Last year the results were released during last week of March and the beginning of April. The acknowledgement about documents I received at the beginning of January last year, so if you, Allen, have not yet received any acknowledgement, I would also suggest to contact with lawgradadm@nus.edu.sg.

APG : Can u please tell me how is the result declared?I mean will we get emails informing us that we have got through or do we need to check the application status online?
Also, from your post I gather that you are a current student doing LLM , can you please give me some idea about the placements that happen after the course gets over. I mean do the students get well-placed with firms and companies after LLM through the University or do they have to look out for a job on their own.
Can u please post your email address, if thats ok with you ofcos...so that its easier to discuss. Thanks in advance.
Doyel
Cheers :)

Hi Doyel,
You will get email with information whether you were accepted. If the answer is positive, the email will contain the letter of offer. Regarding the second question, Im not the person who is well informed about this topic since Ive already had a job. However, I can tell you that on some programs (IBL for sure) NUS organizes 2 weeks internship in law offices or supreme court. It also organize at least once a year the career fair, with potential employees.
Take care!

i am thinking of pursuing my llm from NUS in intellectual property law. is it necessary to have a science background for pursuing llm in ip?? please help
Posted Mar 18, 2010 09:21
Hi,
you don't need to have a science background for the LLM IPR course. A good undergraduate degree in law would suffice besides the other requirments which Prof. Alan Tan has mentioned at the beginning of this thread.
cheers
