Hi, Manish Pandey, if you want to go corporate legal, I mean if you want to work as corporate in-house legal professional, you can directly post your resume with some of the recruitment sites in india like naukri, monster etc and with your present qualification & experience you can easily get into any company, as in india now the job market is booming again. For getting a corporate job you need not do MBL. However, MBL is such an excellent program and it will certainly add value to your CV. Best of Luck.

Hi, RIMEE, to the extent I know for MBL, the school will conduct some contact classes for a period of one week or so in a row, which will mostly be like workshop, seminar model and the various topics from MBL I subjects will be taken up. You can find their schedule in NLSIU website. These classes are optional only but one will be benefited by attending such classes. They also provide accommidation and food facilities in their NLSIU hostels where other LLB, LLM student also live. So, you can have a chance of inteacting with NLSIU students and can develop your contacts as well. Hope this is clear.

IF you have already posted your resume in naukri etc then I am sure you will get calls for the positions suitable to your profile. In india, at present the job market for legal professionals is also very good and there is rising trend in future openings and there are lot of corporate openings coming up. So, just wait and see. You can also try through developing your contacts with some HR consultants in your city or in any main cities in INdia.

It is always advisable to have some additional qualifications by way of parttime courses or distance learning. MBL is also an excellent program. IF you have come out of law school very recently ie., some two/three years back only, you can also try to go for LLM programs at any national law schools in indai like, NLSIU, Bangalore, NALSAR, HYderabad, NLS, JOdhpur etc as these courses will also provide placement assistance. (I am not sure, just check with schools administration). However, these LLMs are fulltime courses and very competitive and expensive. (It is only a suggestion and while taking a decision you have see your affordability).

Bust of Luck.

hello everyone
i'm nishita from mumbai and have also applied for the same course. have recently finished my masters in finance from LSE and working now
would be great if we can form a facebook group etc to stay in touch and help each other out as the academic year progresses since distance learning can be a bit challenging on your own
looking forward to the contact classes where we can all meet and come up with coherent solutions on how to keep up with studies with work etc plus it seems like everyone comes from diverse academic and professional backgrounds so very interested to hear what motivated everyone to take up this course!
:):) good luck to everyone and keep in touch!!
