That's too much. How can they do this??????? Many friends of mine (including me) decided not to apply for IBL as it's more expensive. But now, the fee for Singapore Programme is higher. If they really use this fee, at least, they should inform us earlier.

i knw....they hav made it more than double...with soaring dollar n inflation, this time total expenditure for whole AY would easily cross 30,000SGD whereas last year it was only 18,000-20,000 SGD. This is certailnly not fair. they should have increased the fees in phased manner.

I don't understand... Are u sure?!
I received the admission package and there was written that the fees for the IBL 2008/2009 were 10.000 SGD and now you say 14730 SGD.
Is it true?!

have u guys made arrangements for accomodation??? n does anyone have a clue when do we have to select our optionals???
Posted Jun 18, 2008 05:06
guys i checked the fees... it has no doubt increased but for IBL and Maritime law courses..... these courses are new so they have not increased the fee... as for accomodation evans lodge is full for the session... its really gonna be tough arranging for one... probably we should approach the overseas students affairs office...

Guys i never received any admission packet from the admissions office except one email. I do not know that the administration is so lazy and ignorant at NUS...........this is the worst applying experience of my life.....I hope u guys who r going to study there have a good time........

Guys I would like to rectify my earlier post........I was expecting to receive something by post, but it came to my surprize that NUS is not using postal method anymore, they just use email service to deliver the admission pack. Because I did not know about that development, I was still waiting for that. Mr. Alan (Dean of Graduate Studies) has informed me that they are using only email method, so taking this into consideration I would like to tell you that I received an email containing all stuff. I would like to thank Mr. Alan for his personal attentation towards students and to solve their problems. thanks again.......
