It's nice if you can all be located in Kashiihama.

Yes you can check the calendar, with the Dec. 23rd and Jan. 10th as national holidays, winter holidays can be quite long which is nice. But I would advice to wait to be here before to plan your vacation though.

It might change next year but here is how the LLM was organized this year: 10 credits per semester (each class is worth 2 credits). During the fall semester we had some mandatory classes: legal theory and comparative legal and political cultures. For the spring semester we had to select at least three classes related to our master thesis' subject.

Thanks for all the advice people :) Great so that means I've got to waste two subjects on first year undergraduate courses oh well... The last point is the most random though! None of the courses that they have on offer even relate to my thesis topic at all as far as I can tell! Should prove rather interesting, hope it has some leeway...

Anyway, thanks for the advice, that helps a lot :)

Hi everyone, not long to go now... Would anyone be interested in me setting up a facebook group for the 2012 class? If a few people think its worthwhile I'll set one up as might come in handy for the coming year, especially if there are only 30 of us!

I tried setting up a Facebook group but apparently you can't create one without inviting someone to join (weird, it didn't used to be that way). If anyone wants to friend me so I can list them in the invite section when I create the FB group, I'll start it (you can friend me at http://www.facebook.com/gageraley )

What's your thesis about? Maybe you can start thinking of changing your thesis subject instead.
