Hi,
I hope I can get some advice on this matter:
I currently have a Bachelor of Computing from Monash University, Melbourne Australia ( I attended Monash's foundation year in Melbourne therefore do not posess A levels qualification). I wish to do a career switch and practise law in Singapore.
How can I go about it? I am alright with going back to school full time.
I understand Singapore only admits students from certain school however most requirements are for students who have not gone to university.Did I miss out anything?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

I've seen those but they do not seem to allow people with a 3yr degree to apply.
What about overseas option? Is there a test I can take so it does not base solely on my transcript in university? It's been almost 10 years since I graduated.

To my knowledge, you don't require a 4 year undergraduate degree in order to qualify for the graduate LLB or JD programmes in Singapore. For overseas options, you may consider the graduate BA (Jurisprudence) in Oxford (2years). However, you may wish to know that for non-citizens, its much easier if you qualified in Singapore

I am a citizen of Singapore. Does it mean it wouldnt make a difference where I qualify so long the school is approved?
How much emphasis is placed on university transcript? I notice most require either interviews or a written essay. In the states LSATs are required too....Which is given more weightage?

Yes, my friends in Singapore who are lawyers tell me that any of the "approved" universities would allow one to qualify to take the Singapore Bar examinations. I wouldn't know the details of the weightage though
