Michigan Law Michigan Law has a long and proud tradition of educating lawyers from around the world: our first LLM degree was awarded in 1890. Today, we offer two distinct master's programs: the traditional LLM, and the Master of Advanced Corporation Law (MACL). Both are limited to a select, diverse, and relatively small group of students, despite a large number of applications received each year. This ensures that students get individual attention from professors and connect meaningfully with each other.
