A friend doing his JSD at Yale just told us that the graduate committee is going to consider all applications and make final decisions on Tuesday. So the results will probably come out later this week, if not the week following.
Good luck, all!

Thank you for this information, mio!
I am desperately waiting for the admission results! Actually, I only applied to Yale since my field is legal research and I want to write a paper under the supervision of a particular Yale law professor.

By the way, do you know if they have a quota by country or by a region?
Thanks!

Hi,
I'm doing my LL.M at Yale this year. In one of the meetings with the Graduate Program Officers, we were told that they do have a very rough quota system, in that they like all regions of the world to be represented (though probably not proportionately). I dont think that translates into any quota by country. For example, this year, all the continents are represented. There are 2 from Australasia, 1 from Africa, 5 from North America, 10 from Asia, 3 from Latin America, 9 from Europe.
Hope this helps. Best of luck with the applications! They are definitely hard at it, and I guess you'll be hearing from them within the week (it's only a guess, so please don't quote me on this:-))
