Dear All,
I was told that it is extremely difficult for somebody who has some work experience to be awarded financial support. Most scholarships/fellowships go to those having little or no experience. Is that true? I have 4 years experience as an associate in a big local firm of a developing country. Young associates are generally underpaid so the tuition and living expenses are notoriously high for me.
Besides, anybody can share his/her tips for being awarded the Appel Scholarship of CLS or the half-tuition waiver by Duke?
Another question: do I have to include a list of big transactions I participated in my application material? Will it add some points to my application?
Thanks!
cheers,

I got a 50% scholarship from Minnesota although I have been working in a law firm for more than 6 years.
I am also from a developed country, and the expenses are extremely high for me.
I recomend that you send with your application materials a letter of recomendation from the Dean of your Law School, that will give you a plus.
In my case I got one, and I think it helped a LOT.
