Best of luck in getting admitted into Texas from the waitlist. I went to Texas for my JD and loved it. Austin is a great town and is the only place I would consider living in Texas. Aprilchen has been accepted to several LL.M programs, so I expect that she will probably give up her Texas spot. Where are you from?

When did they offer you the waitlist? My application was processed since Feb 1 and yesterday I emailed them to ask on the decision and they told me that they have reviewed my application but have not made a decision on it that it is on the hold for further review status.

Did they told you the same or they explicitly told you that you are on the waitlist? When did your application processed?

I´m from Guatemala, Central America. I received a formal "wait list offer" from UT last Friday. I accepted the wait list offer on Monday and hope to hear from them soon.

UT Austin is really great and worth trying.
I got their admission letter couple days ago, but I have to give it up for NYUso I will be writing to inform them soon.

That is the trouble with UT. Although a solid school, the lure of NYU, Harvard, Columbia is just too much

As Richard said in the above, even though UT Austin is really a great school, I will decline its offer for Berkeley as I am more interested in IP laws and Technology laws. I will write an e-mail to the admission office to state my intention later. Wish you get good news soon!
