Well I wouldn't apply for an LLM without any experience. It would be a waste of time and money, once one of the main goals of these programs is the opportunity you get to interact with your classmates and share previous experiences.
Before anyone criticize this, I want to say that its only my opinion and in Law there is always more than one.
What grades do I need?

hi i wanted to ask something about this whole ranking business... i did my llb through the uni of london external programme, this is offered worldwide thru the british council... it is extremely hard to secure a 2.1(forget a 1st)... cuz of lack of resources and professors, so its self study... however i managed to get a 2.2, now how do i know my rank.... will i be ranked with all the others in the world... or will i be ranked with other students in my class(who were only 7 or 8... and no one did better than me)... i have also done my Bar Vocational Course and was graded competent(62%)... most probably i will be pursuing an llm from Queen Mary uni of london this year.... how would any one rate my chances at sat NYU... i know harvard would be a bit over the top...please i need some advice in this matter... i dont have any work experience.. other than a bit of teaching experience and some summer internships in pakistan(from where i belong)... btw i will be 24 when i finish my llm at queen mary... would my credentials help or is it a hopeless situation... plz avise...

grades are the utmost important criterion because it's the best indicator of how you might do in law school.
