Hi All!! - I should not be the one who is eager to go to the US and worried whether will be able to get visa appointment and eventually the visa itself.

It would be nice if we could support and inform each other under this post once we hear or experience sth in that regard. All the best for everyone!

Hi there! In Brazil, the consulate is closed for over a year now and people are either waiting for it to reopen or scheduling the visa appointment in other countries that issue the visa for third party countries, such as Chile and Ecuador. 

Hi Gabi! Thank you for your response. The situation here in Turkey is the same - the consulate closed over a year ago.
After you'd given such idea, I did research on what could be done around here. Although there are some open consulates nearby, some specialist did not recommend such application as students need to demonstrate their ties to their country of residence.

Anyways, fingers crossed! The possibility of not getting visa after all those hustle quite worries me. Best of luck to all of us:)
