Vanderbilt vs Fordham

Hello,
I got admitted in both the universities for LLM in Business Law. I got scholarship of $7,500 from fordham. Though the ranking of Vanderbilt is better than Fordham as per US News & Reports but people suggested that NY is better place to get exposure. Could you please recommend which state and university would be better for post LLM work opportunities and at the same time is not much expensive?

Thank you!

If you want to live and work in New York (which most do) I would suggest going to Fordham. Going to school there will help with the school to work transition. As well, you won't have to move back and forth your 2L summer when you do an internship in NY. Although Fordham isn't known as a better school than Vanderbilt, it gives you just as much opportunity to work in New York. Seeing as you want to focus on business law I would recommend going to Fordham as they actually have a better "business law" ranking than Vanderbilt
