Hi,

I got admitted to USD for the fall 2006 semester. I would like to share some thoughts with someone who is planning to attend USD as well.

hi, i got accepted late in may. i am currently trying to decide between USD and UCHastings. as far as i know, USD is a fast recognized as one of the better law schools in california. some surveys rank them in top 25 and top 50. (us news ranks them at 65) it's a good school in my opinion, has a good tax program, but has some limitation on starting salaries by private firms and the job location prospect upon graduation. where else did you get into?

I got admitted to Cardozo in NYC and California Western (not my first choice, a backup plan). I applied to those three schools only. I visited the campus at USD at really liked it. The atmosphere seems laid back and the administration workers are super pleasant and very helpful. I don't intend to work in private law firms, so the salary is not an issue for me. I would like to work in Family Law, specifically with children, maybe with dependency cases or abused children. I don't expect to make a fortune out of this anyway :) It would be great to know someone even if only by e-mail before starting the school in August.
Please keep in touch! Good luck making your decision. I don't think you can go wrong with any of these two schools.
