Hi! can someone elaborate more on early reviews. I submitted my online application before Nov 15, but my transcripts got forwarded after the deadline (LSAC was still reviewing the docs). Does this meet the requirement of early review application? Thanks.

It depends on school policy, but I don't think it's a problem. The same happened to me with Georgetown, as in my transcript was processed after the Early Action deadline and I was accepted in December anyway.

A friend who applied on Early Action received an email communicating that she was placed on Hold for Further Review. So yes, UPenn is starting to send out their decisions (at least for early action applicants).

I submitted mine on Nov 15 but transcript and 2 LOR were still reviewed under CAS. They were forwarded on early December. Pursuant to Penn's explanation above, I didnt meet the deadline for early review. Waiting anxiously until early March now. Good luck everyone!

I got the email from Penn Law on 14/11/2017 acknowledging my app. I emailed Penn last week asking if my app is considered early notification pool but they haven’t replied my email. So strange because over the past few years the early decisions were announced no later than 23 Jan. I am so stressed waiting for the decision.

It's possible that the "current status date" changes are linked to the dates on which Penn received your various reference letters. Did you submit your LSAC application without all your reference letters? In any event, the early notification deadline is 1 February 2018, so I guess you'll know soon enough.
