I am a lawyer from India going to uiuc for fall 2011. Is any one else going?

Hello, I am a lawyer from Venezuela. I'm applying for admission for the LLM offered by this University to begin this fall 2012, I have all the requirements, but I do not know when the admission decisions are going to be made!
Can anyone help me with this information?

Have anyone studied at this university? I would like to know your experience as an UIUC student!

Hi,

I attended the LL.M. program at UIUC. It is a very nice University and a nice town. The town is small but has a nice diversity of culture as far as restaurants, etc. They have campus transportation system, Gyms for students, parks, tennis courts, lots of pubs etc. It seems to have a very relaxed atmosphere. The law library is a nice place to study. I don't remember exactly when the LL.M. decisions were announced, but I received my JSD acceptance letter the 3rd week in April. I imagine they all come out about the same time, but I can't say for sure. Anyway, best of luck with your application. I think you would be very happy with the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Thank you for the information. I haven´t had any news about my acceptance yet. I have been waiting since the end of february 2012. The lady of the admission office told me that my application was sent to the scholarship Committee so I hope to be lucky with that.
I have another question. When the admission decisions are made, do they send a letter to your mail box or do they send it via e mail?

I got both email and letter. But you will get email quicker, and decide whether you want to put your deposit to secure your position or not.

I got both email and letter. But you will get email quicker, and decide whether you want to put your deposit to secure your position or not.
