I am looking forward to pursuing an LLM degree in the usa soon.
was wondering if anyone knows about the LLM program at the university of Cincinnati? do you recommend applying there or is it not common for international students to apply for this specific university?

It's a fine school but certainly not a 'top tier' law school.

Usually, international students use an LLM to have a 'brand name' on their resume, so that when they go back to their home countries and start applying for jobs, they'll have something to help them stand out from other candidates. Beyond what you learn, there really is a lot of value in having a recognizable law school front and center.

Maybe at the firms you will be applying to, people will recognize the University of Cincinnati. Maybe not.

The LLM program at Cincinnati Law is recognized as a top program for value and experiences--both in and outside of the classroom. While it is a public institution, it's a top 200 global university in a beautiful, affordable medium-sized city with all the amenities of a large city and the costs and welcoming attitude of a small city.
