Hi, this is what Justin replied to my query on financial aid:
“We have sent out an initial round of offers, so for the moment, unfortunately, I am unable to offer you any kind of financial assistance. We will have to wait and see what happens with our first offers before we are able to make any further offers. In all likelihood we will be making more offers after the 1 April commitment deadline but we have to wait to see who accepts and who declines.

It is possible that some people decline scholarships before 1 April, so to that end we might make some more offers sooner, but again we have to wait and see.

I am sorry that I can’t give you a definitive answer at this moment, but the process is very fluid and we want to be able to make as many offers as possible with the limited amount of financial aid available.

If you need anything else please do not hesitate to reach out.”

Make sure you check your spam! I thought I was out and didn’t check the spam because I’ve been in constant communication with Justin. Turns out I got a 20k one! (I use Gmail)

Nothing yet. I wrote to Justin yesterday asking for any updates on the matter but still haven't received an answer.

Guess everyone on the waitlist got the same massage from Justin, UC this year is receiving more responses than expected and therefore everyone is gonna wait until early May.

Justing replied to me last week and said that they did admit someone from the waitlist earlier this month and were still considering whether they could make more offers in the coming weeks. It seems that we still have to wait..fingers crossed...
