ucb executive track or wushu llm?

夏雨

Hi everyone, I was accepted to the executive track for 2023/2024, and I also received offers from BU, USC, and WASHU, and the latter three schools gave me $10,000 scholarships. Finally, I was put on Georgetown's waitlist and I updated Georgetown on my status, but still haven't received any letter. At the moment I am not sure which program is more suitable for me, I plan to return to Asia after graduation and have no intention to work in the US (because I know it is hard to find a suitable job with an llm degree) I would appreciate if anyone can give me some advice!()

Hi! Are you from China? If so, definitely vote for Berkeley for it's t10 and enjoys a great alumni network in Chinese law firms. Wish you the best luck~

yep,I am from China. Berkeley is well known in China, but I'm more worried that others might not think the program is good enough.

Thank you for your advice, I have already paid the deposit for Berkeley after serious consideration. I think I need to explain why I'm hesitant. Because in China, many universities offer "adult degrees" which are often geared towards people who have jobs. And the requirements for these programs are very, very low. So I'm worried that there might be a misunderstanding. However, since this program issues the same degree, I think it should be fine.

No worries. Berkeley is definitely among one of the target schools of top Chinese law firms, so just go for it.
