Dont think this is the case since I submitted a TOEFL score

Yes, that is why I am wondering. If the requirement does not go blank for some people because they have simply not submitted a TOEFL score.

On the Forum I haven't seen a single person from years before who got an admit that was not blank. But I dont know if the forum is also indicative of the entire class size!
Anyone here who has a blank requirements list but applied for TOEFL waiver instead of submitting a TOEFL score?

Me! But my online tracker says ‘Application complete and submitted for review’ so I don’t think there’s anything to worry about. Except the fact that my requirement list is not black yet :((

I applied on the deadline and it just says Application Complete. Nothing changed, all requirements are there etc. I’ll just have to wait

So according to the website "applicants will be notified several days in advance as to when the decisions will be sent." And this moment should be "by February 15". Let the waiting games begin!

Hello everyone, can you please describe what you mean by ‘blank’?

My requirement section became black and white a few days ago. The check box was originally blue.

Does this count as ‘blank’ or does the requirement form literally go empty?

thanks in advance!

In my case, it means that under "Requirements List", there is only the table headers "Status" and "Item" and underneath nothing. Only blank space. No items are listed.

Thank you very much!

Hello, everyone!
Is there anyone who got a phone call from Uchicago?
As I read from the thread of previous years, there were candidates who got the admission call a few days before the official decision date.

And I still wonder if there is anyone whose requirement list of the status page became blank. Mine is still there (and I really want to erase them on my own. 1f61d)

Hi! My requirement list went blank in mid January. Haven’t received a phone call (yet).

It seems that as of 2020, phone calls are no longer part of the admissions process of UChicago, so don’t expect to receive a call. We will surely be notified of our outcome all at once around February 15.

The completion email from UChicago said this - “The Graduate Admissions Committee reviews applications on a rolling basis in the order files are completed. However, decisions will not be sent out until on or around February 15th.”
