A little stuck on these, and precisely what they are looking for. Especially the Harvard "Pick a an interesting topic and propose a legal framework" one. Any applicants fancy sharing what they did or what they might be looking for?

And generally, I get the impression that personal statements are a different breed for US universities (compared to the UK anyway). Any insight from anyone?
