My question is this. Is it advisable to get a tax llm in the UK, if you want to work in the US? Does that hep or hurt your chances of working in the US after the llm program, at the IRS or wherever you seek to work in. All responses would be appreciated.

I believe you should go for the LLM in the country you intend to work in.

Well, but we're talking international taxation. Is there that much of a difference in the way the curriculum will be thought in the Uk over the US?

I'm pretty sure there is.
The programs focus on a country's standpoint regarding International Taxation.
I would suggest you check the curriculums for instance.

I understand - LLM tuition in UK is much cheaper than that in US. But you'd better get the LLM in US, if you really wanna stay here upon graduation.
