Any domestic T14 JD applicants for NYU tax program here?
What would be the credential, I mean, GPA etc to get in?

I'm a domestic JD student but Top 25 not T14. I was accepted. I was top 10% of first year section. Lower GPA since then. Generally tough classes. A summer associate position in T100 law firm. Three tax classes and taking corporate tax currently. Didn't do great in my first tax class, but did really well in the advanced tax classes (A's).
Hope this helps,

Thx. Considering the April-1 deadline, it seems to be a rolling-based process.

Do you mind telling us the approximate level of your JD school, rank-wise?

Oh, I thought you meant you graduated in the top 25% of your class. Thanks.

Go to Vandy, grades somewhere between top 50% to top third. B+ in estate tax, A- in Fed tax. Law Review. 2 years experience tangential to tax.
Applied early, in sometime in Jan if I remember correctly.
Good luck.

tax09 is correct. Top 25 referred to my law school. I have not graduated yet, and they only rank top 10% and top third.
tax09 was wrong about one thing, but I'll leave you to figure that out, and it wasn't particularly relevant to your question.

Well, your response was only one line, so somehow I have to believe that you can figure this out. But here is a little clue, +x -y.

tax09: Correct.
snowie: You've misunderstood.
I definitely have to stop reading this board or I will never graduate!
Good luck to all. I am off to read corporate tax.
