Hi Guys
I am in a dilemma and would love to know your opinion on summer school:
1. I have been practicing as a common law lawyer for a few years. So I am older than a fresh grad.
2. English is my natural language.
3. I will be starting at CLS which has a 3 week pre-llm course in American law which I will attend
4. I know nothing about American law and want to do well at my LLM as well as have interesting experiences.
QUESTION: should I do an additional summer school program? I was thinking of the Amsterdam program as it is 4 weeks and fairly good value. But - is it a waste of time and money for me given the above? Any contributions would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks

IMHO, u cud skip the summer course without much loss. HLS is offering a similar 1 or 2 week one, and i think that will be sufficient for me. However, i am interested in Public International law so my lenses are understandably different from someone who might do subjects drawing heavily upon US law.
