Stupid - but who do you get letters addressed to?

Hi Guys,

I apologize for the detailed and ridiculous nature of this post, but for the life of me, I can't seem to find the specific name of who/what body my references ought to address their letters to for my 2013-14 LLM application. In some of the below cases, I found what I think is the best option to whom to address the letter, but I'd like to confirm it with you guys.

Some schools like Columbia explicitly state it, yet others, leave me clue-less (I know you can look at who you would mail the entire paper package too if not using LSAC, but often this info is not even coming up yet as it is so early.)

I am looking for the proper titles of to whom the following letters should be addressed to, if any of you recently went through this and could help me out please - I am sure if I wait a bit longer for the 2013 applications to become available, I will get the info in the application but most of my letters are coming from quite far away and some people than will be too busy later to write them:
1) harvard
2) standford
3) NYU
4)Berkeley
5)Penn
6)Yale
(I know the last 4 schools accept letters through LSAC, but if I was getting specific ones for each of those schools could you please tell me to whom you had them addressed).

7) General letters sent to all schools through LSAC, not addressed to any school in particular - what did you guys write, "to whom it may concern", "dean of admissions", etc.

thanks a lot guys, I really do appreciate it, I would not normally ask such a question but given the circumstances under which I am getting some of these letters I'd like to be sure and as early as possible.

Thanks again

Considering that you have to identify each recommender and assign each letter to a specific law school, I believe that "to whom it may concern" letters are not accepted, even when sent through LSAC. I think the letters are addressed to the Graduate Admissions Office of each school.

Berkeley adn Yale applications are already opened.

I'm assuming that's a typo, but it's Stanford, not Standford. :)

References, unless instructed otherwise, should be addressed to the Admissions office.
