Hi, just received the call for the LST program. Same as the other calls (background, future plans, why stanford, etc), and also out of the blue.

Hi, does anyone have any idea as to how many students usually get offers for Stanford's Corporate Governance & Practice programme?

Suggest to have some sort of whatsapp or facebook group with those who are accepted.

Hi! Do you know if any such group has already been created?

Congrats - that is a positive sign. I hope to receive a call from them soon.

Hey since you have a whatsapp group of admitted students - general idea of how many lawyers have gotten admitted for the CGP program. The forum has around 7.

Just got a call for the LST program. I'm from Australia. Got caught off guard and gave an absolutely horrendous interview. Professor Du Mont advised that admission decisions would be released next week.

I am admitted to the California bar and work as a lawyer in San Francisco. Also admitted in my home jurisdiction. Haven’t heard back from them and applied to 2 programs.

May I ask which country you are from?

CGP LLM- This year they seem to be keen on work experience. Saw a person with 10 years experience admitted. While a person with 3 years work experience who got into Harvard Law school is waitlisted. It’s all their criteria which changes every year. Don’t stress about it.

I emailed Stanford asking about the status of my application for the CG&P program, my exact email was:

"To,
Office of Graduate Admissions,

Hello. I am sure that you all are very occupied, especially at this time, with the COVID-19 outbreak spreading. But it is my humble request if you could just let me know what my application status is, I had applied for the Masters in Law in Program (CG&P) and have not heard anything from Stanford yet. Had my deadlines for other institutes not been fast approaching I would have not disturbed you otherwise. I am aware that some students have been called and admitted and even waitlisted already to the program, but so far I have not received any communication from Stanford. Its my request if you can let me know what my application status (good or bad) or at least provide me with some sort of timeline for the same if I am still being considered."

Their response was:

"Thank you for your email.

The admissions decisions are an ongoing process. Therefore your application is currently in review. We will contact applicants with their decisions (admit, waitlist, deny) this month and into early April."

Honestly, don't know what to make of this. I want to move ahead and confirm my admission to NYU, but don't know what to expect out of this vague response.
