guys, sorry to hear..

Just received my rejection letter...rest in peace...
Man, I'm very sorry to hear that, especially because of that ITW. However, I'm sure that, with such an attractive profile, you must have been or will be admitted in top law schools.

Was just interviewed by Stanford re the LL.M. program in Law, Science and Technology. I have to say that I was pretty damn nervous after I heard that it was SLS at the other end of the line!
The interviewer, whose name I cannot remember for all the money in the world, said that the decision re admission would be made within one week and per e-mail. Im afraid I wont be able to sleep properly until that.
Those of you who have been previously admitted to the Corporate Governance LL.M. program, where you all interviewed before you got the admission decision? Thanks!
Right now I think Im pretty close to 100 at the Chang scale =)

That's definitely a good sign Armand. Although at this stage I'd advise you against getting your hope up until you have actually got the admission email.
I myself am a Stanford applicant and was interviewed before I got the admission email. But there were also people who were interviewed but were rejected at the end. And I also heard that not all admitted were interviewed. All I can say is your chance is good but if I were in your shoes I'd rather take it the other way round just to avoid the *&$*#& ...
Stanford is a superb school with extremely nice people. Hopefully we can meet there this fall. Best luck!

Thanks prendo! Your right that the best thing is to chill and just wait for the decision. I have to honestly say that I dont think the interview went that well. I was pretty much caught at a bad time and I think that my nervousness showed through. Well, in the end it is just a school and not the end of the world

armand, I found in another thread that you are admitted to the LL.M. program in LS&T. Big congrats!
But, on the other hand, Im getting pretty nervous. According to the past threads, Stanford seems to send admission emails for each program on the same day. IP LL.M. has only 15 slots this year, so it seems natural that it doesnt take much time to send all admission emails.
Actually, I had a telephone interview with a lady (Christine?) at the admissions office of Stanford Monday evening (California time). However, still no news Not like armand, I heard that my decision would be made within the next week. I began thinking it was a bad sign because a sooner notice is usually a better notice in the field of LL.M. admissions procedure
Anyway, did anyone else hear from Stanford? Anyone in the same boat?

I was also admitted to the SLS LL.M. program in LS&T.
I was interviewed on Tuesday and accepted yesterday.
Has anyone else been admitted to this program?

Does anyone have any further news?

In the end, I have been placed on a waitlist of Stanford LL.M. program in LS&T. Although it seems difficult to be admitted from the waitlist because they have only 10-15 slots each year, I have not given up yet.
I would appreciate it if someone could inform me of the deadline to accept their offer.
And, if there is someone who is admitted but planning not to accept their offer (what a gorgeous plan!), please (many please!) decline their offer as soon as possible.
Many thanks!

Got their regret email on March 31. Congratulations to all those who got into Stanford! I have declined the offer from UW and UCLA. Now chooing between UPENN and NYU. Still waiting for Columbia. What would u guys do if you had Columbia, NYU and UPENN..? Which one would you choose and for what reason?
Posted Apr 04, 2007 06:35
The deadline for accepting the offer was April 19.

hey karthik 008. not that i have applied to any of the schools in the States(got through NUS ) i would say that the choice is clearly between NYU and Columbia. There are other forums on the internet where your queries would receive a more satisfactory reply. If I have to go for one I'd say Columbia...
