Stanford admissions

Hi guys, I applied to the Environmental LLM at Stanford.

I have not gotten any news yet. Having heard of many people already interviewed and admitted (and even wait listed), and seeing admissions' dates of past years, I have already realized I was rejected.

However, I contacted them and got an answer saying that the admission process is still undergoing and admissions results will be released until the end of April. They also said that my application is actually "under review".

I think this is likely the kind of polite "you have been rejected, but until it is not official, I will not say it" message.

However, do you think there are realistic chances of being admitted at this point?

It's strange. When did you complete the application?

I applied on December 1, 2023, but my application became fully completed with my TOEFL results on February 1, 2024.

I am completely convinced that it is a rejection, and I will probably end up at Columbia, but just wanted to confirm if someone went through a similar process and got admitted.

I have applied for the IELBP programme on 1 December which was the deadline. Many people have been interviewed and some received offers too. I asked about the status last week. They replied yesterday saying that it is still under review and they will get back by April end. So yeah, on the same boat.

Do you know if there is a specific day for acceptances/rejections? we'll probably not see our status changed today right? haha

For admitted applicants, can you let us know if there are those who chose to pursue llm elsewhere? Maybe you have whatsapp group or somethin
