Seeking honest opinion. Do you folks think that the selection by Ivy’s are very similar? - if Columbia doesn’t take you, the chances with Stanford or Harvard is low/zero?
I made myself that same question. The reality is... no one really knows. I was waitlisted by Columbia but got accepted by UPenn. UPenn is also Ivy League and is better ranked than Columbia. So... I guess it really depends in the people behind the screen that review all our applications and how much they empathize with us.
Let's not lose hope until we receive the rejection email. In the meanwhile, positive energy for us all.

Hi, I found some sayings that the J.S.D. program of SLS does not admit applicants from their LL.M. program (not the J.S.M. program). Does anyone know whether that's true?

Hi I don’t think that’s true. I know someone who did LLM at Stanford and also is now doing their JSD at Stanford! Hope this helps.

I read from last year’s thread that some people received an offer without an interview. Is that what they are gonna do this year uniformly?? It’s mid march and no word from them? Any clue what’s happening?

Omg hahahah. It’s beginning to feel like that’s their intention. It’s surreal to not have heard from them at all. Or are we the unlucky cohort wherein people who heard from Stanford just never found this forum :(
