I am planning to apply for LLM starting in 2015. I was wondering whether there are any advantages/disadvantages of applying for Spring Semester or Fall Semester. For instance do we lose out on job fair or if the courses offered in spring are less than in fall.

Stagista11, I have been told the same by many that Fall semester is preferred over Spring and that many Universities do not even offer Spring Sem. But is there any specific reason for such preference ??

first and foremost because very few top schools offer winter admission... since a LLM is costly, you want to get the most value for the money you spend. To Limit your options to only those schools offering winter admission doesn't sound like a clever choice
