Reapplying after being accepted - SOP

Hey All,

I was accepted last year to Georgetown, however I could not accept the offer due to certain personal and professional reasons. I wish to apply again this year. Do I need to mention this in my SOP and also state the reason for turning down their offer ?

Also, Georgetown website says they accept 2 LORs, however LSAC indicates 4. How many LORs need to be submitted ?

You should write to Georgetown and ask. I expect they will confirm your offer but require you to follow the readmission process for the heck of the rule. Normally the same SOP suffices if its a matter of just a year.

Hi,

Accepting 2 means that you need to submit a minimum of two but upto four LORs are accepted.

Not sure about whether you should be submitting the same SOP again, but you may mention about getting selected on a previous occasion.
