re-application next year

knight

I've written for deferral, receiving no information so far. I'm afraid that I may decline the admission and continue working for a year if deferral is not granted. Then I wonder about my chance of re-application next year: (i) how should I explain the reason behind having not attended the school in the previous year; (ii) how should I convince the schools that declined me this year that I have made material improvement? Your thoughts are welcomed.

Sure. Stay in touch.
I'm truly depressed with the bad economy. Now I'm thinking about doing an LLB in London, which is 3 years' long but much cheaper than JD, and will be eligible for NY bar as well...call me crazy...

I think you'd also be eligibie to take the NY bar with a UK LLM.

probably not. The NY bar exam rules stipulate that the LLM must be undertaken in the US.

I am also in the same boat. But i think it is not that much difficult to get deferral if you have solid reason.
My seeking deferral is not the economy but the funding problem and I did not get any scholarship.
Anyway, which school are you seeking deferral from?

I have been thinking about seeking deferral for financial reasons as well. I got admitted to GULC and Florida for their tax programs, but with no prospect of scholarships thus far, the idea of putting myself out of a workforce and a good job for a year is a bit frightening. I wonder if the schools are getting a lot of requests for deferral this year, and will be less likely to grant the request.

Guys I got rejected by whatever college I applied.

Nevermind!!!!!!!!!!

What are the chances on reapplication.

And yes, the afore-result is not because of my credentials(well I think so) but may be i failed in marketing myself.

So what are the chances...................?????
