so I'm a secondary education major with a focus on history. after graduation I would like to do law. Can i just go for my LLM after taking the LSATs or do I have to get my J.D. too? I don't want to practice it just be able to teach it in the classroom.

You cannot take LLM without a LLB/JD degree. You can take the LSAT and get a JD degree first.
