Pepperdine : advice / which program choose ?

Edgar

Hello,

I am a french student and I would like to apply this year for a Pepperdine LLM in dispute resolution because I would like to become an arbitrator and sit the New York bar next year.

Do you have any clue to succeed the admission please ?

Also, I don't really know which one choose between these :

International Commercial Arbitration (ICA)
International Commercial Law and Arbitration (ICLA)
International Commercial Law and Dispute Resolution (ICLDR)
US Law and Dispute Resolution (USLDR)
Dispute Resolution

Do you know which one give the best knowledge in terms of arbitration and dispute resolution ? Does each of these permit to sit the New York bar please ?

Sincerely,

Edgar

Hello Edgar!

Although i'm not applying to Pepperdine, a few friends of mine have applied or gratuated from this uni.

All of them told me that the pure "Dispute Resolution LLM" was the program that "granted fame" to Straus Institute. The other derivations were created recently.
