I got waitlisted in penn for rhe LLm this year, and I wanted to know if someone that also got waitlisted in penn already got some kind of response, or maybe you heard on some that got a response?

I refused my acceptance last night and assume that they will be sending out the new wave of acceptances soon as the deadline for all accepted students is almost passed.

Anyone e-mailed them yet to enquire when they will start giving offers to waitlisted candidates?

I don't remember where but when I got waitlisted initially I remember reading somewhere that they begin giving out waitlist offers from the 15th onwards

They mailed me back today saying they start giving out offers during april and continue for the next few months.. oh and also they cant tell you where you stand on the list etc.. they will only inform you of a rejection once the class is full

I called them on the previous week and they said that decisions will be announced within next 2 weeks i.e. I suppose 1-1.5 weeks left...

Let me tell you about my last year experience.

I was put on the waitlist on March 2, 2007 and I received the following rejection notice on June 12, 2007.

"Dear Mr. X:

I write to inform you that, regretfully, we are unable to offer you a place in our incoming LL.M. class. As you know, we are very impressed with your credentials and had placed you on our Waiting List in the hope that a seat would become available. However, that has not happened, and we have filled our Class of 2008. We appreciate your interest in the University of Pennsylvania Law School. It is unfortunate that, in a rigorous selection process, many outstanding individuals - you included! - cannot be offered a seat.

We wish you the best in your future endeavors.

Sincerely"
