Online Tax LLM

DrJohn

Hi everyone,

I've been accepted into WashU's Online Tax LLM program. I'm wondering if anyone else on here has been accepted. I'm also wondering if anyone has any idea about any statistics regarding job placements in large firms after completion of the program. It is quite expensive, and before I invest in it, I want to make sure it is worthwhile. Thanks!

It's a well established and well designed program.

Ask the school directly about 1) the career resources it offers, and 2) the likelihood of being placed in your preferred firms after graduating.

It seems to me that online programs tend to have less career support than in-class programs. Typically, the better ranked a school, the more sway it will have with larger firms. The BU and NYU programs - both of which I believe are offered online - are better ranked.
