Hi guys! Same here. Admitted for the trade regulation program with IP concentration. I'm from Taiwan. Are you guys considering going to NYU?

Not sure, tough choice, since I am already settled in NY area. I have the choice of Berkeley/Upenn/Duke/GW and NYU. So far it looks to be Berkeley. Any suggestions would be appreciated, since I have to decide soon!
Still waiting from Stanford and Harvard.
How about you? Whats your top choice? I am indian settled in US from the last 6 years.

I'm deciding between Columbia/NYU/Berkeley. Still waiting for news from Stanford and Harvard too but I would consider my chances not so substantial. Berkeley is currently top on my list because of the size of program, reputation (overall and in IP) and weather. Any advice or sharing of experience would be greatly appreciated.
Ritu: what makes Berkeley your top choice at the moment? Wouldn't you prefer somewhere nearer to where you live now?

Hi postrac,
What makes Berkeley my top choice is my interest in IP laws particularly Technology laws...and Berkeley is known for that. The dilemma is its a coast to coast move for me...as compared to NYU which is like 20 mins from where I live currently...
Whats the deadline for Berkeley for you...I have till end of next week.getting closer....!!!!

I have yet to receive my official postal letter of admission from Berkeley, in which I believe the deadline would be indicated. When did you get yours?

Hi everybody. I was placed in WAITING LIST, you cannot imagine how sad I am since to be honest I thought I had a good background, my grades are quite good but of course not good enough it seems. Does anyone know if people placed in the waiting list have some chance to get finally admitted?

Hi, I'm in the Trade Regulation program, too, with concentration in International Trade, but I have some questions about this concentration now.
1, What is the difference between International Trade in the Trade Regulation program and International Economic law in the International Legal Studies program? Is there any major difference between the two in course setup?
2,Is there any chance that I can switch to another program, say, the General Studies program, if I find myself not that interested in IP law or Antitrust?
Actually I am interested in International Business Transaction Law and International Commercial Arbitration, and things alike. It seems that at this time NYU hast not provided the detailed course description to students yet. So I am a little worried about whether I have chosen the right concentration for myself or not.
Is there any insider kind enough to give me some instructions? Many many thanks !
